Over the years, Capital OTB has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars promoting admission-free tennis tournaments in Schenectady. At the same time, horse-racing fans pay a $3 admission fee at the Teletheater in Albany. Do you suppose the New York Yankees spend a large portion of their promotional dollars promoting pro football?

Mr. Etkin opened what amounts to a taxpayer subsidized sports bar at his Albany complex. Has anyone realized that there are people in the private sector who own sports bars who actually pay taxes?

Where have the legislators who are supposed to oversee this operation been all these years?
