NSW: Show organisers to investigate cameraman's bull collision
Sydney Royal Easter Show organisers are investigating why a television cameraman injuredby a bull had been allowed into a rodeo ring to film.
The Seven Network cameraman suffered minor injuries when he was knocked over by thebull this morning at the Homebush Bay showgrounds.
The network was broadcasting live around 7am (AEST) when the bull, ridden by a rodeorider, was released from an enclosure and collided with the camera and its operator.
The New South Wales Ambulance Service says the cameraman was treated for a sore collarbone, elbow and wrist at Concord Hospital.
Royal Agricultural Society of NSW spokesman IAN DEAR has described the incident asvery regrettable.
He says it's not normal procedure for onlookers or media personnel to be inside thering, and an investigation will be carried out.
