FED: Armed air marshals could be in the sky by end of week-2

Later, Qantas said they were cooperating with authorities in relation to the air marshals.

"We are working with the federal government and other representatives over the proposed
introduction of air security officers," A Qantas spokeswoman said.

"Qantas complies with the regulations set by the department of transport and is ensuring
that the program is introduced in a safe and successful manner," she said.
